Established in 1956, Castro Valley High School (CVHS) is a public secondary school serving grades 9-12 in Castro Valley, California. The school has been recognized as a National Exemplary School and a California Distinguished School. CVHS offers a comprehensive curriculum with advanced placement courses, honors classes, and a variety of extracurricular activities, including athletics and performing arts. The school's colors are green and gold, and its mascot is the Trojan.
