The 6-foot-3, 375-pounder recently added an offer from Miami following his commitment date. With no future date in mind, that might leave the door open for the Canes and others to host him on campus.
Taumanupepe has not used his official visit to Oregon. The Ducks are the overwhelming favorite according to the On3 RPM. Oregon has a 99% chance to land Taumanupepe ahead of this latest development.
Texas, Houston and others have also been involved in his recruitment.
