3-star cornerback Shawn Battle names top 5 schools
Philadelphia (Pa.) Neumann Goretti cornerback Shawn Battle is down to five schools, he announced on Tuesday night.
Battle is the No. 460 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 48 cornerback and the No. 12 junior prospect in Pennsylvania.

Among his top five are: Boston College, Cincinnati, Nebraska, Penn State and Virginia. Battle also announced that he will make his commitment on June 4th at 4:00 p.m. ET.
In addition to his top group, Shawn Battle holds offers from the likes of Tennessee, Texas A&M, Maryland, NC State, Ole Miss and more. He is coming off of a pair of visits this month to Boston College and Nebraska.
