Christmas Day commitment for Curt Cignetti and Indiana as QB Jacob Bell adds to 2025 class
Naperville (Ill.) North 2025 quarterback Jacob Bell announced his commitment to Indiana on Christmas morning.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Bell becomes commit No. 23 for Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers in the class.
“Seeing Coach Cignetti flip around a long awaited dynasty and make them a College Football Playoff contender in his first year lets me know that they have a bright future and it’s something that looks fun to be a part of,” Bell told On3.
Previously committed to Ball State, the prolific Bell took his official visit to Indiana earlier this month. He also attended a game during the fall.

“I’m super excited to look into a program with a history and established coaching staff like Indiana,” Bell said. “It’s an awesome opportunity and being down on my official visit confirmed everything I’ve heard about the university.”
As a senior Bell completed over 63 percent of his passes for 3,082 yards and 38 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He added four more rushing scores.
